November 2016 Uppercase Box Review

So, I think that I Love music as much as I love books. Last week, I finally got to enjoy one of my favorite groups in concert: Pentatonix! If you love their music and want a great show, they are really an experience you don't want to miss! They are even more amazing in person! But enough about music. Let's get to one of my other favorite things - the November Uppercase Box!

If you don't know, Uppercase Box is a monthly book subscription service. Each month, subscribers will receive a newly released, signed YA novel along with a couple bookish goodies. They have to plans available: The Expert plan is $23.00 per month (plus s+h) and the Book Exclusive plan is normally $17.00 per month but is currently on sale for $13.99 (plus s+h). This review is for the Book Exclusive box.

I love the personalized notes from Lisa each month. They are such a nice little touch! The note also lists each item featured in your box.

I may have gotten a tad excited when I saw the little first look booklet for Carve The Mark. It's an upcoming release from Veronica Roth (the author of the Divergent series) and it's one of my most anticipated reads for 2017!

The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon --- While contemporary is not my absolute favorite genre ever, I do still enjoy them from time to time. This one looks especially good and has a 4.4/5 rating on GoodReads. Here's the synopsis from Amazon:

"Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is twelve hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story.

Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in store—for both of us.

The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true? "

And as always, the book is signed by the author! This is one of the reasons I adore Uppercase so much. Nothing beats sn autographed copy!

Another reason I love this subscription is the interactive exclusive content they include. That's such a fun way to better connect with story and the author.

Also included is a beautiful temporary tattoo to go with this month's featured book.

I love Uppercase Box! I kick myself in the rear constantly for not trying it out sooner. Signed new release YA novels, adorable bookish goodies, and a unique reading experience. They really are fabulous and I always look forward to seeing this in my mailbox each month!
