Pernahkah anda mengalami, saat memposting tulisan di blog, resume atau deskripsi artikel yang semestinya muncul bersama-sama dengan foto dan judul posting di homepage, malah tidak muncul dan berganti dengan munculnya tulisan Normal 0 0 False False False EN-US X-NONE X-NONE?
Saya sendiri belum menemukan istilah baku dalam dunia blog untuk kasus seperti ini. Namun dalam pembahasan ini, kita namai saja sesuai yang tertulis: Normal 0 0 False False.
Kalau anda mencoba browsing di internet, anda akan menemukan banyak penulis yang mengidentifikasi terjadinya kasus Normal 0 0 false false sebagai akibat dari cara menulis dan memposting artikel yang salah, yakni kebiasaan menulis dan mengcopy-paste artikel langsung dari dokumen MS Word.
Konon, menurut mereka, blogspot tidak terlalu support dengan dokumen dalam format Ms Word. Sehingga disarankan dalam membuat artikel lebih baik dilakukan langsung di halaman posting blogger, atau menggunakan notepad.
Entah benar atau tidak, tapi pengalaman saya membuktikan lain. Bertahun-tahun saya menulis artikel dalam format Ms Word, dan kemudian mempublish dengan cara copy-paste ke halaman posting blogger, tapi tidak pernah saya menemukan masalah seperti kasus Normal 0 0 False False. Baik dalam blog dengan template bawaan blogger, maupun blog dengan template hasil download gratis.
Masalah ini baru saya temukan belakangan. Khususnya, setelah menggunakan template dengan format “terbaru”, mungkin buatan sekitar tahun 2013 ke atas (antara lain ditandai dengan tampilan image slider, featured post, dan read more atau baca selanjutnya versi otomatis).
Dari situ saya berkesimpulan bahwa "copy paste dokumen format Ms Word bukanlah biang kerok yang berdiri sendiri". Ia hanya akan bermasalah apabila bertemu dengan template tertentu yang tidak support dengan dokumen format Ms Word.
(Ini mungkin sekaligus sebagai catatan dan koreksi bagi para pakar atau ahli template: apakah ada kode-kode yang mungkin bisa diperbaharui agar template bisa support terhadap dokumen format Ms Word, mengingat kebanyakan di antara kita sudah terbiasa mengetik dalam format word sebelum kemudian mempublikasikan artikel di blog).
Kembali ke topik kita – terlepas dari sebab-musababnya dan kemungkinan kaitannya dengan desain template – bagi rekan-rekan yang mengalami kasus munculnya tulisan Normal 0 0 False False False EN-US X-NONE X-NONE menggantikan posisi resume atau deskripsi artikel di halaman depan blog, ikuti langkah-langkah Cara Efektif Menghilangkan Normal 0 0 False False berikut ini:
1. Masuk ke Dasbor blogger dan pilih salah satu blog yang akan di-edit.
2. Pilih menu Pos dan lanjutkan klik edit entri di bawah artikel yang bermasalah atau di bawah posting yang akan di-edit.
3. Setelah halaman edit posting mode Compose terbuka, ubah ke mode HTML dengan cara klik HTML di sebelah kiri atas kotak editing posting.(di samping mode Compose).
4. Sekarang, cari dan hapus kode seperti di bawah ini. Kode tersebut biasanya sangat panjang, dimulai dari kode <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml><w:Word Document> (sekitar baris kedua atau ketiga dari atas), dan diakhiri dengan kode </style><![endif]-->. (Anda mungkin akan menemukan banyak kode </style><![endif]-->, silahkan hapus semuanya sampai kode </style><![endif]--> yang terakhir sebelum kode yang memuat “batang tubuh” atau isi tulisan/artikel).

5. Selesai menghapus kode di atas, kembali ke halaman edit mode Compose. Akhiri dengan klik Perbaharui, dan lihat hasilnya!
