For Disney’s live-action remake of their 1991 classic she’s singing a new song which didn’t appear in the first film, How Does A Moment Last Forever, composed by Alan Menken, and it has just been released to stream on Spotify.
It’s not quite her and Peabo Bryson’s original Beauty And The Beast classic but then, what is?
And its lyrics do ask us an important question: ‘How does a story never die?’
Which, given how long Beauty And The Beast has been popular for is pretty pertinent.

Well, yes, in the film, but Dion and Bryson’s alternative version appeared on the soundtrack and won Dion her first Grammy.
Anyway Dion’s new power ballad did get us thinking about her 1991 hit Tale As Old As Time and how it might actually top Legend and Grande’s version.
