We are going to take a look at two lovely Skin care products by Elizavecca. It will be the Farmer Piggy and the Witch Piggy. Let's find out what hides behind these lovely names.

You must've heard about Elizavecca's most popular skincare products: the Milky Piggy Carbonated Clay Mask, which bubbles once applied onto the skin, and Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which intensely moisturizes even the driest skin. These two products were bestsellers in Korea.

Dry and rough skin and hair are the two most common side effects we all have to deal with in the fall and winter. Cold winds, dropping temperatures, and heaters are the skin's worst enemies during this time. Hot showers and baths make the dry situation even worse. That's when good old vegetable oil comes to cure skin dryness.

Farmer Piggy is a 100% pure jojoba seed oil. It is lighter and finer than other vegetable oil, which allows Jojoba Oil to absorb faster and deeper into the skin. Jojoba oil is rich in beneficial nutrients such as vitamins E and B, which are known for their anti-aging and antioxidant effects on the skin. It also includes minerals: copper, zinc, and chromium. These are especially beneficial for acne-prone skin, as these minerals fight inflammation and scarring.

One of the greatest advantages of beauty oils is their ease of use. There are many ways to use oils in your routine. You can use them with moisturizers and serums to keep moisture in your skin. What it is and why do we use it in skincare?  It is a probiotic ingredient widely used in the beauty industry. This ingredient is derived from a multifunctional probiotic Bifidobacterium longum. It is native to the human gastrointestinal tract. Various clinical studies have shown its ability to improve the immune system of the skin. It also promotes the skin's natural repair mechanism and strengthens its microbiome. This ferment helps prevent damage caused by UV light.

Witch Piggy Hell-Pore with Bifida is odorless essence with a water-like transparent texture. It comes in a convenient glass bottle with a long dropper applicator inside. Bifida ferment lysate is a gentle ingredient that can be affected by the air, light, and high temperatures. Therefore, it's best to store the Witch Piggy essence in a dark, cool place.

To tell the truth, this was the first time I used Bifida Ferment Lysate for my skin. I wasn't familiar with this ingredient and didn't know how to properly use it on my skin. Luckily, the instructions on the package and the internet helped me out.

It is suggested to apply 2-3 drops of the essence on clean, dry skin. Softly dab the surface of the skin with your fingers, allowing the Bifida ferment to absorb onto it. Another way to use Bifida ferment – spray it from the mist bottle. This is a concentrated ferment, so a little of the products goes a long way.
