As we talked about in our previous post, Infiniti recently sponsored an opening gala for the Museum of Food and Drink Lab in New York City. This multi-sensory museum is set to host several exhibits to show how flavor, industry, physiology, science, history, and even culture shape our sense of taste.
According to Infiniti, the brand gave a generous sponsorship and began a partnership with Eater NY and Vox. The goal of MOFAD is to eventually expand to a large-scale museum with exhibits that you can really eat. This is just one example of Infiniti’s dedication to philanthropic efforts.

“When it comes to food, everyone has some level of expertise — and that is at the heart of what makes MOFAD Lab so exciting,” said Dave Arnold, founder and president of the Museum of Food and Drink and innovator in the field of culinary technology. “MOFAD Lab will use an accessible subject, the food we eat, to delve into complex questions of culture, history, science and art — and will provide an incredible springboard for a full Museum of Food and Drink in New York.”
For the first night, individuals could sample a gin and tonic with cinchona bark, a sabich tostada with eggplant, squid in ink sauce, Pasta Puttanesca, and kelp mousse with elderflower. These are just some of the many exhibits set to be displayed at the museum.
