Better late than never....this week's Wedding blog is a few days late, as I've been having some major back pain. Luckily I have a very caring groom to help me through it. This week I've got my wedding-planning brain on the invitations. It is after all, one of the next few things on the to-do list. While I love some of the modern watercolor wedding invitations, when it comes to our wedding, I've had either florals or a simple script invitation in mind. I'm definitely leaning towards script, maybe with a little floral touch or a monogram or border, but definitely simple and elegant...adjectives I find both myself and the groom saying a lot during this wedding-planning process.

Modern Calligraphy Wedding Invitations

I thought finally narrowing it down to one look would make for a quick and easy choice. But oh my goodness, there are so many choices even on the elegant simple invitations. You've got modern, traditional, both modern and traditional with monogram, scroll designs, borders, etc. Then there's whether to get classic black and white or add in some color. So Ken and I will be doing some major browsing together before we settle on the exact design. And of course if we go with one of the invitations in color, it'll be in our wedding color - red.:)
