Grossdeutschland Panzergrenadier Division with a Tiger and Panthers.
Did you know? In March 1945, the Panzer Grenadier Division Großdeutschland had dwindled to approximately 4,000 personnel following the Battle of Memel. By March 15, 1945, their armored inventory consisted of just 1 StuG III, 1 Panzer IV, 5 Panthers, and 6 Tiger I tanks. As of April 25, 1945, the division found itself embroiled in intense combat during the clashes near Pillau. Subsequently, around eight hundred members of the division were evacuated via ferries across the Baltic Sea and surrendered to British forces in Schleswig-Holstein on May 9.
