The House Select Committee on China has released a report calling for a loophole allowing apparel websites to sell Uyghur-made clothes in the US to be removed and for a list of foreign manufacturers known to exploit Forced Labor to be created. The report also calls for Congress to fund a public archive documenting China’s genocide of the Uyghurs and for the executive branch to pursue diplomatic efforts to help those who escape the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region find refuge.
