Light Aircraft crash-lands in Likia, Nakuru County

A light aircraft has on Saturday afternoon crash-landed in Likia, Nakuru Country after developing mechanical problem after take off.

Aboard the aircraft were two foreign nationals who were heading to Maasai Mara who were also involved in the accident but came out unhurt.

“An accident involving a light aircraft is reported to have happened earlier today in Likia, Nakuru County. The said plane crash-landed after taking off on a flight to Mara North.

Aboard the flight were two passengers of foreign national and their pilot. All the three escaped unhurt. Investigation by respective agencies into the cause of the accident has been launched.” Said National Police Service

According to media reports, the pilot 27-year-old Joshua Kwam was flying the two foreigners a 28-year-old Peruvian and a 29-year-old French national when the plane crash-landed at a farm in Nakuru County.
