Kenya has on Wednesday received the first batch of Presidential Ballot Papers. This is after the plane carrying the papers landed at JKIA.
Receiving the consignment were IEBC officials in conjunction with the media who were present to witness the arrival.

The arrival of the Ballot Papers follows a delegation visit to Athens, Greece to oversee the printing process as confirmed by the Independent Electoral Boundary Commission (IEBC). The delegation also comprised officials from UDA, Azimio Roots party, and the Agano party.
“The IEBC Kenya and stakeholders team are in Greece to visit the Inform Lykos (Hellas) SA Company’s factory premises in Athens and witness the printing, packaging, and delivery process of Ballot papers for general elections 2022.
The monitoring delegation is to witness in writing by ticking a checklist for completion of several key production points including sign-off of the printer ballot proofs, print runs, stitching of the ballot pads, packaging, and delivery.” said IEBC
