Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has threatened to release evidence proving how Hon. Martha Karua’s land benefited from the south Ngariama land during her tenure as Cabinet Minister.
“Martha’s evasive on this debate including on south Ngariama land. She knows we can provide evidence on her family benefitting on it while she was cabinet minister. That is why they will not allow us to complete titling the land.” Said Governor Waiguru
The statement follows a statement by Hon. Martha Karua daring the county of Kirinyaga to provide proof how she benefitted from the said land row during Tuesday’s Presidetial Debate.

According to Karua, she has never never received bribe as claimed by international media back then but the money in question was sent to her campaign team as donation but the same amount did not enter her account.
Karua was responding to Kenya Kwanza Deputy President Aspirant Rigathi Gachagua ‘s allegations that the Azimio Deputy President aspirant has graft cases of her own which she is yet to be cleared of.
According to Hon. Raila Odinga’s running mate, she only has two properties, one in Nairobi where she currently stays and the other one back at her rural home in Kirinyaga issued by her parents.
