Difference between femininity and a feminist – Speakersden TV

"Feminine" is a description for a set of characteristics relating to the energy of femininity in both men and women-general energetic traits such as 'equality', 'collaboration', 'flow', imperfection', circular, non linear etc. It's like describing one half of the plus versus the minus of a battery and more importantly- is not always related to gender as men embody the feminine equally.

Similarly, a "feminist" is also not related to gender-and is essentially a man or woman who believes in protecting the principals of the feminine (i.e. collaboration, flow, circularity, equality, process) These ways of being essentially compose an equal but *different* operating system of energy in comparison to Masculine energy, and over the past couple thousands of years these principals have been disregarded if not outright abused by our patriarchal western culture. A feminist is a human who believes in the equality and functions of these energies and upholds them as needing defense from patriarchal abuse which is ubiquitous, and runs unconsciously in our society like a malware virus which hurts the whole and the individual. A "feminist" paradoxically makes society better for the masculine, because it revives and protects the other half of energies that the *healthy* masculine thrives on.

There are different waves of feminism, and it is worth studying them to understand how history has operated in protecting what is sacred but often discarded in our masculine culture. Past waves of feminism (1st through 3rd wave) needed to embody the masculine militancy in order to create a space and become visible and known in the collective consciousness and this has historically worked against women however was necessary in the evolution towards greater awareness- but was necessary for the later versions of feminism to take hold. 6th wave feminists are the most conscious and the latest wave-meaning they appreciate and respect the masculine energies and the differences inherent in that operating system, however refuse to allow unhealthy masculine abuse within women or men equally and stand up equally for the benefits of the feminine in men as well (i.e. emotional healing of abuse, environmental protection and activism, minority rights, etc). Ultimately it is the highest form of leadership on the planet right now, because it's looking out for the totality of human and natural rights and correcting our historical survival programming which champions separationism and fear, which many cutting edge 6th wave feminists are working to dismantle by doing their inner work- however a keen eye needs to be kept open as abuse can show up easily on either side (especially abuse of women against other women-as misogyny is most deeply embedded in women themselves as a result of patriarchy) because our patriarchal roots run deep: there is lots of work to do on every side. Is it complex? Yes! Unattainable? No.
