Yoast SEO is one of the most important WordPress plugins for bloggers. If you’re a complete newbie in search engine optimization, this plugin helps you to optimize your blog posts. So you’ll get traffic from the search engines.

It checks your articles to the base of targetted keyword and tells you what are the SEO improvement you can do on your articles.

15. Ping Optimizer

This is one of the must-have WordPress plugins for bloggers on my list because in WordPress whenever you hit the Publish or Update button it will ping the search engine bots. So they can crawl and index your new content. But if your blog doesn’t have any updated content and you’re pinging the search engine bots numerous times, then they will flag your blog as spam. An I’m sure you don’t want that.

I use Elementor for updating and uploading my blog posts, and there is an option called Update that pings the search engine bots whenever I click it. I use that option serval times whenever I upload my new articles, which is not good. So I use this plugin called Ping Optimizer that prevents sending pings every time I click on the update button. I manually ping the search engines bots once my article is fully uploaded.

So, I highly recommend you to use this free plugin in your WordPress blog and prevent your blog from spam flagged.

16. Revive Old Posts

Revive Old Posts is another great plugin for your blog. It shares your older blog post on various social networking sites through your social media accounts. In this way, your old posts get a new life and reach and drive you some traffic to your blog.
