The kosher deli has been operating since 1956, starting out in Queens. They’re currently located on the Upper East Side at 1125 Lexington Ave, between 78th and 79th Streets.

Known for their overstuffed sandwiches with 80z portions of pastrami, as well as corned beef, hard salami, smoked turkey and more, Pastrami Queen also offers deli meats by the pound, soups including matzoh ball, chicken noodle and kreplach, a popular potato knish, kugel, franks in a blanket and more.

This positive news is very timely, as we just found out Ali Baba has closed its doors after serving its popular kosher fare to Upper West Siders since the mid 1990s.
