What is the story of how Dessert Craft came to life ?

Being a certified patisserie chef I always wanted to explore the field of desserts.. There are many people who are doing cakes, cupcakes and stuff but not many businesses are Dessert oriented. I wanted to focus mainly on desserts. Hence the name ‘ Dessert Craft’ came into existence.

What do you think is the best part of Dessert Craft that makes it stand out amongst the likes of it?

My unique dessert flavours and presentation style is something that make Desert Craft stand out.  I keep bringing new ideas time to time so my customers have a variety of options to choose from. ‘Cookie Monster, Salted Caramel Brownie Trifle and Lemon Maringue desserts’ are some of my unique dessert flavours. 

Where do you find your inspiration for each of your creation?

My work is mainly the combination of all the recipes and techniques I learnt over the span of time. I do not stick to certain recipes, I keep exploring and experimenting new recipes and techniques.

If you could pin your success down to one thing or one moment, what would that be?

Success for me is the combination of passion for what you do, hardwork, patience and risk taking. 

If you could have one dream celebrity be the face of your venture – Who would it be?  

Jessica Prealpato, a famous patisserie chef that I admire. 

What is your favorite part about working for yourself and what’s the most challenging? 

My work gives me a direction in life, it keeps me busy and motivated, at the same time managing everything all at once including social media management, production, purchasing and deliveries single handedly becomes challenging sometimes. 

When you’re not at work, where do you go for great desserts?

I am a die heart cheesecake lover that’s the reason I started making it too. My favourite go to place for a slice of cheesecake is ‘Pantry’.

What is the next big step for Dessert Craft?

I plan to expand my work and cater dessert needs of masses of Lahore in near future.
