Cruise Carry-On Bag Check List

Cruise Carry-On Bag Check List

Cruise carry-on bag quite important, because on turn around day there will be average of 6 to 7 thousand pieces of luggage loaded to the Ship. So you may get yours hours after you boarded the ship, but if you pack you carry-on knowing that – you’ll be out of troubles and will enjoy you stay from a minute you step on board! Below items must be in your carry-on:

  • Passport, ID and cruise documents:

You would not believe me – but this happens so many times, passenger pack their passport in a suitcase and now stuck on check in or immigration. It may take hours for ship accommodation team to find that particular bag with your passport in it. And instead of exploring your ship – you will sit and stress on a check in area for quite some time.

  • Credit card and cash – that’s Golden Rule – have your cash with you all the time.
  • Medications – as I said earlier, it may take some time for your bags to be delivered, so if you have your daily medications pack it in your carry-on. Don’t risk medical emergency, ship medical center not necessary have medications you needed.
  • Swimwear and workout gear – you don’t need to wait, and can relax by the pool or Jacuzzi with a glass of umbrella drink or hit the gym if it your preference.
  • Camera, cell phone, laptop and other valuables – don’t pack your valuable electronics in your luggage! Never. And besides that – you may like to take some sail away pictures?
  • Change of clothes – have one change for a day with you, it will help in case there will be some delays with delivering you luggage, sometimes if there some mix with a luggage tags you can get it even next day.
  • Kid stuff – if you travel with kids pack all essentials with you!
  • Toiletries – remember all ship shops closed while in Port due to Customs regulations.  Have all you toiletries with you. Remember there are no limitations for liquids when passing ship security – you can pack all your toiletries with you.
