Video: Appointment of 5 judges in 5 days, Centre tells Supreme Court

The Supreme Court said the Central government should not force the Court to take tough decisions over the delay in appointment of judges. Upon which, the Centre assured five judges of the Supreme Court will be appointed in five days.

The Supreme Court will hear the application seeking a ban on the BBC documentary in April. The Court refused to impose an interim ban and sought the Central government’s response in 3 weeks.

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court alleging fraud by the Hindenburg Group, which had issued a report on Adani. There is also a demand for compensation to investors who suffered losses.

The Supreme Court directed videography of Sakal Hindu Samaj meeting in Mumbai. It asked the police to take preventive action if needed to stop hate speech.
