ADULTERER…

Broke all the trust,

devalued our Love,

hurt your children,

stole my future.

For what?

~

Do you even know?

~

We all wear badges,

the things that define us.

~

Father.

Husband.

Partner.

Lover.

Friend.

~

They were yours,

to carry with pride.

~

Instead you denied them,

as you trawled through pick up bars.

~

Left them out of your profile,

on those seedy websites.

~

There’s only one left,

that truly describes what you are.

~

Adulterer.
