The ruling governments in the twin Telugu states are suppressing the Opposition parties ruthlessly. In the process, they are also oppressing the media that is not toeing their line. Consequently, there is no effective media group that can successfully expose the misdeeds of the KCR and the Jagan Reddy governments. This is the feeling that is driving TV 9 Expelled CEO Ravi Prakash to open his own new TV Channel group. He sees a visible vacuum in the Telugu news media.
