One composer who has been consistently churning out hits since a young age when he started composing is none other than Devi Sri Prasad – also known as DSP for short.

When he began his music composing career with Kodi Ramakrishna’s Devi, DSP was just in teens. The songs in his first album were beautifully melodious and rich usage of orchestration raised many eyebrows in the film industry. How could a young guy in teens produce such beautiful music was the debate. His style was classified as extremely elegant and classy but not much of an appeal to the masses. After a few years, DSP himself rediscovered his own antics with Srinu Vaitla’s entertainer Anandam. The album was a perfect mix of duets, dance numbers and even an Energetic item number!

Right from then, DSP has formulated a success mantra for a brilliant album to elevate a film’s output. His essential focus on movie album songs was with rhythm and foot-tapping music. Being a student of Mandolin Legend U.Srinivas, DSP also loves guitar and usage of strings in his songs. Apart from being a swift composer, he himself is an Energetic Powerhouse when he performs on stage.

Whenever DSP was branded to be a mass musician or repetitive, he used to bring out something new and contrasting to stun the critics. It is his unfaltering energy levels which keeps the composer going victorious in all these years!
