Online shopping vs in store shopping

Evening y’all, how’s it going?
I cannot tell you how much happier I am to be working again. I actually appreciate the weekends where I literally do the bare minimum. Our mindsets will always change when we go through different experiences and in this instance, no work equals no appreciation for doing nothing but work equals total appreciation for doing nothing.
Alas, this is not what I intended to write about in this post but I do however think for some deluded reason you people who read my blog actually care about my life. Like you want to hear how my day was.
Back to topic. So, I was Shopping with my mum today which is literally tradition on a Saturday. We go to lunch and then browse the shops. When we browse and I see things I like I’ll check the price and be like hell no, that is way too expensive for what it is. I then tell myself and my mum, I’d never spend that amount of money on a lipstick.
Now, I’m using lipstick as an example because I actually bought a new one today. If you follow my Instagram or my page on Facebook you would have seen my red lips selfie. This lipstick cost me only 2.99 and I was so happy with that. I looked at others and they were around the 5.99, 7.99 blah blah kinda mark, the kinda mark I refuse to pay in store.
As I currently scroll through ASOS adding everything I think I need in life (when it’s only a want) to my wish list, I am proving to be a liar. Today in Superdrug I said no, I will not spend 6.99 on a lipstick but online it’s a whole different outlook! I have saved so many things including clothes, bags, shoes and makeup that are probably considered a bit pricey.
The worse part is, I have every intention of buying the things in my wish list.
I guess what I’m trying to put across or even ask the world, do you also do this? Do you approach online shopping and in Store Shopping differently? I mean how insane, I literally become a flosser online. Throwing money around like I’m rolling in it.
As always, this was a thought that came into my head as I scrolled through ASOS and you know me, I write what I’m thinking. Whether people want to hear it or not!
Anywho, thanks guys if you are reading this. I for one think it’s hella interesting.
