Tuesday Vibes are usually Bad Vibes for me, I bet they are for you too huh? Well, they will be bad vibes when I go back to work! As much as I’m so happy I have a job again, we all know that I’ll miss all this time off I’ve had. And I’ve started to use it for self care.
You know, I can always tell when I’m feeling crappy by the fact I cannot read. When I can’t manage reading a book I know things are bad! So, I’m delighted to say, I’ve read a whole book, The perks of being a wallflower and I’m already reading another one, release by Patrick Ness. It may seem silly to some people but the fact I’m reading makes me happy because I know that I’m in a good place.
You know what else I’ve been doing? Exercise, lots and lots of it. When you don’t have a job to go to you need to fill up your time with other things, I finally decided to use it to do something constructive and worthwhile.
I don’t know if anyone knows this, but I would struggle to go to the gym maximum once a week, yes, I know real bad. I’ve been 4 times! And I even went 3 times in the same week. Again, this may seem absolutely pointless and silly to some, but for me, it’s a massive accomplishment. I also realised or noticed rather, that I’m fitter than I thought I was. I haven’t passed out after 10 minutes of cardio!
I guess the reason behind this post is to make people aware of the fact that there is always something that lets you know you’re not in a good place without actually thinking it or being in a bad mood. Mine, i cannot face reading. I wonder what yours would be?
Another point, exercise is amazing and everyone should do it at least once a week. If not only helps your physical health (obviously), it also helps your mental. It gives me a good start to the day! Sadly, when I do start working again I’ll only be able to go once a week for a while. Maybe that’ll be enough, and if it isn’t, I’ll push myself to do it more.
