There is always covert ops are going on between the spy agencies. Especially between RA&W and ISI.

Recently, 4 months ago, Indian spy agencies busted two modules of ISI working in Indian territories. One was active in Rajasthan and the other one was involved in a sting operation on officers of Pakistan High Commission in Delhi.  But do you know 2 decades ago, one operation was carried out by ISI but funded Indian Military Intelligence and military intelligence used this money to carry operation against ISI? Isn’t it funny??   Basically, ISI funded Indian Military Intelligence to carry out an operation against ISI..haha.. but hows that happened?? How they fooled ISI?

ISI always have back to back operations against India. ISI main objective is to disrupt India. Basically, it was founded to collect secret information of Indian military, defence deals, etc. So, the first target is India. The recent operation was carried out against ISI operatives. He was working under the diplomatic pact. Military intelligence unit in Delhi was constantly monitoring the activity of this officer. He was captured February this year when he met the contact and was going to handover nuggets in exchange of information. He was deported to Pakistan in ignominy.

But the operation of funny errors has the same plot.  But duping ISI is not as easy its look. Because ISI also has a strong ground network and known as one of the most dangerous spy agencies in the world. Duping ISI means giving the devil his due!! Indian military intelligence managed to pull this off successfully.

ISI named this operation as Desert Chase. But later Indian Military intelligence unit used this operation against ISI ..You can call this operation as Operation of comedy errors.

This operation started during monsoon season over 2 decades ago. Indian military soldier was walking back home. ISI officer was going by that road, saw the office and he offered him a lift. This ISS officer was specialised in carrying gout illegal act in India by offering the person money, gift, etc. During that period, ISI early wanting to know the secret information on Army Air Defence which is also known as AAD. Indian soldier sat in the car and then the conversation started. ISI officer asked him about his profession. ISI officer thought he had hit a jackpot when he heard that he was from AD corps.

But ISI officer misinterpreted the AD corps as Air Defence corps. But AD corps actually means the Army Dental Corps.

Without wasting any minutes, The military soldier informed the military intelligence about the ISI officer that he offered money in exchange for information. And the real operation started!!!

 The military intelligence unit in Delhi told Military officer to provide wrong information. Soon the  Pakistan High commission started to transfer money into the soldier’s account. But they didn’t know that they are paying the money for feeding wrong information to the Indian military intelligence.

So, this actually means, ISI was funding Indian military intelligence to carry out an operation against itself!

This was continued for a while. After sometime Military intelligence arrested the ISI officers and Indian government declared him persona non grata. This was combined the success of military intelligence, IB and Delhi police.

So what you learn from this?? Even a small misinterpreting can cost you a million dollar!!
