As an adoptive parent you are eligible to receive up to a $14,080 (for 2019) tax credit once your Adoption is complete. This alone helps make adoption affordable for many. The credit is a dollar for dollar refund of qualified expenses. Qualified expenses include: adoption fees, court costs, attorney fees, traveling expenses (including amounts spent for meals and lodging while away from home), and other expenses directly related to the legal adoption of a child. Both Hands helps families fund raise for their adoptions. A family gathers a team of volunteers and Both Hands coaches them to coordinate a service project. Most projects involve fixing up a widow’s home. The family and their team send letters to raise sponsorship for their day of service. As a result, the funds raised help you complete your adoption!

HANDinHAND Christian Adoption, Inc. is dedicated to helping children become part of “forever” families. They partner with Christian couples to help carry the burden of the cost of adoption. HANDinHAND works by providing matching grants and the raising of support. We accomplish this goal by working together with private donors, churches, and the family and friends of adoptive couples. We work with families that have already begun the process of adoption in order to help make adoption affordable.

Adoption Matching Grants are awarded $500–$4000 for a one child adoption and $500–$6000 for the adoption of more than one child. Families fund raise for their adoption. This is done within their sphere of influence, typically using letters, emails, or face-to-face meetings. In turn, Promise686 matches funds raised dollar-for-dollar up to the grant amount. Dream4Adoption – Welcome to our founding program. Under this program Dream4Adoption will be accepting applications for grants for the home study phase of adopting families. Therefore, this program seeks to fund up to $1,500.00 directly to the service provider involved in your adoption. There is also a bonus of $500.00 for the family when you complete the post adoption process.

The mission of Family Formation Charitable Trust is to provide financial assistance to those individuals and non-profit organizations seeking to build families through adoption and assisted reproduction.

Forever Families has awarded over $307,500 in grants to 226 families since 2013. With the help of Forever Families grants, children have been adopted domestically. As well as internationally from Hong Kong, Haiti, China, India, Honduras, Ghana, and Columbia.

The Gift of Adoption Fund. Our mission is to fill the void that separates child from family. Most importantly through adoption assistance grants.  In turn this gives vulnerable children a permanent home and the chance to thrive.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples or individuals with the cost of their adoptions. We award grants up to $15,000. HelpUsAdopt works with all adopters regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation. We support domestic, international and foster care adoptions. Plus, we do not charge our applicants to apply. Since 2007, we have awarded 274 adoption grants totaling over $2.4 million.

JSC Foundation began as a private foundation in the fall of 2000. One couple realized the financial chasm that must be crossed when families so desperately want to bring an orphan home through adoption. The financial hurdles are often the only obstacle preventing a couple from making that decision to adopt and seeing their dream become a reality.

Mighty Families by Adoption is an adoption grant that assists families who wish to grow by adoption. Through a formal application process, our charity will award two families per year and donate $20,000 to each family to help cover adoption expenses. Hopeful families must be located in the US and actively pursuing domestic infant adoption. The grants are awarded in May and November each year!

National Adoption Foundation. Families can apply for outright grants from the Foundation. The grant program is open to all legal adoptions including public or private agency adoptions, international, special needs or adoptions facilitated by an attorney. There is no income requirement. There is a simple one page application and the only requirement to apply is a home study, or one in progress. The Foundation’s board meets four times a year, during the last week of each quarter, to award adoption grants.

Because adoption stories are powerful, our grants focus on those who are willing and able to share their story openly and broadly. Above all, to influence others to act on behalf of the orphan. There are 163,000,000 orphans in the world. Many of them cannot or will not be adopted. In conclusion, we believe our work can create a ripple effect of care.

Through adoption grants, Room for One More will help offset the high cost of adoption and help a family bring their child home.

It seems ironic that children wait to be adopted while potential parents struggle to afford the costs of adoption. Salvation International is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) financial assistance grant program that was established in 2010. Therefore we provide qualified couples and individuals with grants toward their adoption expense of domestic & international adoptions.

Show Hope Adoption Aid grants are the cornerstone of our work, and the original mission of our founders. One of the primary barriers standing between children and families is the cost associated with adoption. Our grants help break down that cost. God’s Grace Adoption Ministries uses matching grants to help families meet adoption expenses.  The matching grant is a commitment of funds by GGAM that is available to the family to the extent that the funds are matched by the family’s community.

Katelyn’s Fund is a Christian based grant provider with specific qualifying factors: Two parent married, heterosexual, Christian families professing their belief in Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior.

Sacred Selections – For Church of Christ members to help make their adoption journey affordable. Sacred Selections is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide the financial means to fund adoptions for Christian couples committed to opening their hearts and lives for children in need of loving homes.

Embryo and Infertility Grants

Baby Quest Foundation provides financial assistance through fertility grants. Designed for those who cannot afford the high costs of procedures such as IVF, gestational surrogacy, egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, artificial insemination, and embryos.

The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation’s Family Building Grant is an annual award that provides up to $10,000 to needy, infertile families. These grants assist with the costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption.

Our mission is simple – to help couples struggling with infertility  achieve their dreams of  becoming parents through fertility assistance grants. Grants ranging from $8,000 to $15,000 available four times a year.
