As Muslims celebrate the end of the 2018 Ramadan fasting, Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has approved the immediate release of June salary to the workers in the State to enable them celebrate the Eid-El Fitri with joy and happiness.
In a statement signed and issued by the Senior Special Assistant, Media, Junaid Usman Abubakar, the Governor urged the good people of Gombe State to celebrate the Sallah by extending peace to all nooks and crannies of the.
Hassan Dankwambo while wishing all the people of the state a happy Sallah celebrations, he also prayed for peace and unity for Gombe state in particular and Nigeria at large.
The Governor also urged the people of the state to imbibe the spirit of peaceful coexistence and tolerate each other irrespective of ethno-religious differences.
He also appealed to politicians and their supporters to eschew violence and thuggery as political activities preparatory to the 2019 general elections build up warning that government will not hesitate to deal with anyone or group caught causing breach of the peace in the state.
Hassan DanKwambo then thanked the people of the state for their continued support to his administration assuring that every project embarked upon for the development of the state will be completed before the end of the tenure in the 2019.
