Vivo Y53i with 5-inch Display, Snapdragon 425 Launched in India for Rs. 7990

Vivo has silently Launched the Vivo Y53i smartphone as a successor to the Vivo Y53 that was launched in India last year. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,990 while it can be purchased as cheap as Rs 7,990. The smartphone is available from offline stores across the country. It comes only in Crown Gold colour option.

Talking about the specifications, the VivoY53i runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on three years old Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It sports a 5” qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Vivo Y53i comes with an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. The front camera also supports for Face unlock feature to unlock the device.

The Vivo Y53i is fueled by a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and micro-USB port. It measures 144.2 × 71.4 × 7.64mm and weighs 137 grams.
