Panasonic has today launched a new budget-friendly smartphone dubbed as Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,999 and will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart starting from 5th April 2018. It comes in Black, Blue and Gold colour options.
Talking about the specifications, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.7”HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash support. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with LED flash.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 is fueled by a 3250mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB 2.0 port with OTG support. Sensors on board include Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light, Magnetometer, and Fingerprint. It measures 152.5 x 73.3 x 8.5mm and weighs 152 grams.
Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 is also equipped with Arbo, the virtual assistant that uses artificial intelligence to track and learn your daily activity patterns, prompting you to do things as per your timings. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with features such as smart lock, trusted voice and fingerprint sensor for supreme device security.
