Oppo has launched its latest A-series smartphone, the Oppo A71 (2018) in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 9,990 and will be available to purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal. It comes in Gold and Black colour options.
The Oppo A71 (2018) is the successor of Oppo A71 which was launched in India last year. The main highlight of the smartphone is its AI-Beauty Recognition Technology which helps in shooting better selfies. The AI Beauty function captures more than 200 facial features, makes face recognition more accurate and beauty retouching more exquisite. With the help of an image database and self-learning ability, the beauty function identifies different skin textures and tones, age and sex, and customize the effects according to your characteristics.
Talking about specifications, the Oppo A71 (2018) runs on Color OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It sports 5.2” HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Oppo A71 (2018) comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED Flash support. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture and “AI Beauty Recognition Technology” that helps users captures good-looking selfies.
The Oppo A71 (2018) is fueled by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback and 19 hours of mixed usage on a single charge. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.Sensors on board include Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Accelerator Sensor and E-compass. It measures 148.1×73.8 x7.6 mm and weighs 137 grams.
