NAIJ.com gathers that the PDP chairman disclosed that the APC governors were already in talks to join the opposition party, and would be welcomed very soon.
All the six states in the north-central zone - Niger, Kogi, Kwara, Benue, Nasarawa and Plateau - are currently governed by APC governors.
Secondus further disclosed that contrary to claims that some PDP governors plan to defect to other parties, they are actually intact.
The party chairman warned the Independent National Electoral Commission to desist from any attempt to rig the upcoming general elections; stating that any such attempt would be resisted.
He further disclosed that the PDP was on a mission to wrest power from the APC.
In his words: “We are on a mission of recovering Nigeria from the hands of APC; even the market women know that the APC government has collapsed."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that nine governors under the platform of the APC were mulling the idea of exiting the party ahead of the 2019 elections.
According to an unnamed source, unless President Muhammadu Buhari and the party leaders move fast to quell the crisis within the party, no fewer than nine governors and other party chieftains would dump the party.
The rumoured exit of the party stalwarts is expected to be more prominent in the south-west and north-central regions of the country.
