Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-Rufai has said that he could not read an open letter written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari because ‘it is too long.’

NAIJ.com gathered that he, however, insisted that the Buhari administration was not disturbed, after both the presidency and the APC responded.
He said: “You know former President Obasanjo is a Nigerian, he’s a patriot and he is entitled to his opinion just like every other Nigerian.
“We are moving on, we are planning to deliver on our promises and when the time comes we will be ready for the 2019 elections with whoever and whatever party that exists. There are 73 parties in Nigeria; we are going to face them and I’m confident as I said.”
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari was recently advised not to see former president Olusegun Obasanjo as an enemy based on his recent letter to him, but to take the issues he raised as a challenge to prove misguided politicians wrong in 2019.
