I see, I walk.

Ma’am, you want this? This is very nice Madam, check this out, you want to buy this? Fruits you want? Vegetables you want? Come here madam, you just see, it will cost you nothing!
I hear a lot more offers but I don’t listen to any of them, I walk a little further, I see a lad learning how to work with the iron hammer ‘thud – thud’, he’s trying to shape something, the future maybe? His sweat has tiny iron filings and lot more reasons. I see, I walk.
Little kids playing with tyres and sticks, summer holidays it is for them. Cheerful, innocent and completely carefree. I see, I walk.
The colour, in flowers that are beautifully tied with a thread, in fruits that are placed in order to please the eyes. I hear all sorts of sounds, the vehicle, the phones, the cow and random words that are just louder than the rest, I try to read various posters, boards and untold stories in vibrant people walking all around, some earning their daily bread while some others catering to their needs and wants. I see, I walk.
The stench of rotten vegetables, the fragrance of flavours spices, the pleasant smell of hard work and happiness. I smell, I see, I walk.
I’m not lost, I don’t know where I want to go nor do I know what I want for me, yet I feel important. Everyone around is asking if I need something, though I don’t know anyone, I really feel they care about what I am here for. I feel like I matter in this chaotic world of changing taste, colour, texture, weather and of course value. I sense the presence of everything but most importantly, I find what I was looking for – nothing. I see, I walk.
Until next time.
