President Muhammadu Buhari has reassured Nigerians that his administration has not abandoned its campaign promises to conquer the Boko Haram Insurgence and put an end to corruption.
The President gave this assurance when he visited the Emir of Kano in his palace on Wednesday, as part of his two day official visit to the state.
He further highlighted the achievements of his administration, mentioning its success in taming the Boko Haram insurgence; he also lauded the people of Kano state for their support to his government.
In his response, the Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi appreciated the president for making out the time to pay the state a visit; he added that the people of the state would be happy to receive the president again.
The president later commissioned a pediatric hospital along Zoo road, and the Giginyu General Hospital which was named after him. President Buhari applauded the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje for his achievements, encouraging other northern governors to follow in his footsteps.
The president also used the opportunity to emphasize to Nigerians that the change agenda is for the good of Nigerians.
