The princely state and the fourth largest city in Rajasthan, Bikaner is the only Camel breeding region. It is most sought place after Rajasthan. Since the era of Rao Bikaji, the founder of this city, these tough animals were part of the troops in the war. The camel corps are known as “Ganga Risala” and have served in the world wars and Indo-Pak wars.
