Nuuksio National Park is one of the largest national parks in Finland. It is located in Kirkkonummi, Espoo and is spread over a sprawling area of forests and lakes. There are plenty of hiking trails with varying level of difficulty making it suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers. Also, there are selected locations inside the park where it is possible to do grilling, camping, skiing and even berry and mushroom picking. In addition to this there is also a possibility to rent cabin.
I visited Nuuksio National Park just a few weeks back and although winter was in full effect and the entire landscape was covered in snow, it was still a rather enjoyable experience. The prospect of exploring nature has always been appealing to me. I must say Finland is a heaven for nature photographers like me as it has such amazing nature and it truly makes you appreciate the simple things that life has to offer. Here are some pictures from my visit which I captured using my trusty Nikon d5300. I had recently purchased a new Nikorr 35 mm lens for my camera and wanted to test it out during my visit here. Must say I was rather satisfied with my purchase and I got some outstanding photographs using it.

Nature just never stops to amaze me as there are so many things to witness and always so little time. Every time I go on a hike I just feel like getting lost in the beauty of nature.
Sometimes I wonder how much variety you can come across in nature. Amid all the chaos and color, you will notice so many different species trying to co-exist with each other.
