Love of expressions, to tell a story, to let friends, family know your almost eureka moment of today. This is what, pulled me to start journal(ing) my stories on #Instagram world. The Hashtag world.

The journey has been intriguing, wonderful, intellectually stimulation, meaningful. There emerged a pattern. I changed ways of looking at Fashion. My meaning of fashion. What started as capturing my experiences, has opened up a whole new wide world for me.

Too much of writer’s block! My intention was to write small snippet everyday. Micro blogging is what I wanted to do. Well, blogging is a lot of planning and scheduling. Confession #1: The trick is to forecast and plan way ahead.

Confession #2: Deep down I believe in sustainable fashion and not fast fashion. My trips to malls and local markets of the city I live in, dropped to sub zero. I shopped for local fashion of the place I travel to. Brought back the local flavor. Mostly picked on local boutiques, thrift stores or absolute local small time business stalls. I haven’t shopped in months now, simply picking the existing and mixing it for a fresh look.  Well, this doesn’t apply to shoes

The biggest confession is: It’s beginning to look a lot like cocktails!! My head spins when I see the street fashion/style in college or universities have turned into no-brainer style. With the bloggers community mushrooming so quickly, the influence impact cruises like a bullet train. I see the young girls looking almost the same these days. Donning similar hairstyle, similar fashion ensemble, wearing (well actually) the same kind of shoes. The accessories twin too. #twinning needs to vanish, one needs to bring in the style which speaks his/her personality. This is a statement. It’s the personal brand.
