181 more Nigerians return from Libya

At about 7:00pm Monday the 8th of January 2017, another set of 181 Nigerian migrants including men, women, and children returned home from Libya aboard a chartered flight at the International Airport, Lagos.

This comes a day after 491 Nigerians returning home yesterday via Port Harcourt International Airport amidst the ongoing slave trade crisis.

The return was facilitated by the IOM under the EU and the NCFRMI, NAPTIP, NEMA and other relevant agencies are on ground to receive and profile the returnees at the reception center at the airport.

Following the new large-scale evacuation process by the Federal Government of Nigeria, more flights are expected simultaneously in Lagos and Port Harcourt during the week.
