Babe, do something about your facial hair

Hair if it was not supposed to be there would not be growing on our bodies in the first place.  -Rupi Kaur
My last post was a letter to my ‘Future Boyfriend’, in that article, I forgot to mention that his future girlfriend has Facial Hair. She hides them with a De-Tan bleach. There are days when she is lazy to apply it and the hair shines brightly on her magnificent face and some people stare! They stare because hair on a woman's face or body is not considered feminine. I mean why do you have to react to something which is so natural and normal?
Why am I talking about Facial hair when my blog is all about relationship advice for men and women? Because three days back, I was sitting at Taj CCD when a boy in his early twenties told his girlfriend, ‘Babe, you need to do something about your facial hair. They look way too golden today!’’
The girl, gave a bang on reply to her boyfriend, ‘your beard is really thin, I like men like Ranveer Singh, did I ever say anything to you?’’
I swear, I wanted to go and hug her but no, I did not. No, not because I did not know her but both of them mocking each other because one, who according to our society isn’t supposed to have hair on her face, had hair and the other who is supposed to have a beard thick enough for a fly to live in it, did not have anything at all! I mean, what is the fuss with hair? Why is something which has a scientific reason behind it, so important? I wanted to share the reasons and break the myths.
So first, let's about talk women and androgen's
Some women have facial hair because of the presence of androgen's(''male hormones'') at high levels in their blood. Every woman has androgen's in her blood but the level varies and so does the hair. In some cases, androgen's come from medications, birth control pills( because men refuse to wear a condom) and other steroids that 'indirectly' cause the body to make extra androgen's. Abnormality in the ovaries, hormonal imbalance are just some other reasons why androgen's are present in high levels in some women!
Now, let’s talk about guys who are often called ‘baby’ or ‘puppy’ because they can’t grow a beard. I know, I know, a lot of men are mocked because their facial hair growth is less or takes a lot more time than usual. They are considered less masculine or as some weird species say, ’less wise!’ But the reason is how a  man's body reacts to testosterone varies. Men who are sensitive to testosterone have thicker beards as compared to those who don’t!
So, there is a scientific reason behind why some women have facial hair and some men have thicker beards. Then what is the point of mocking each other when some of us are scientifically screwed? And since when did hair become a way to define femininity and masculinity, anyway? Oh, wait! What is femininity and masculinity? These terms are an illusion and if we were to believe them then Anil Kapoor is masculine and the new action kid on the block, Tiger Shroff is feminine!
You fall in love with a person, not their hair! Have you ever heard your Grandmother  say, ‘’I  don’t love my husband anymore because he is balding!’’ Or your dad say that I am not attracted to your mom because her hair is falling!
One day, your partner's hair will fall and they might not feel like getting a hair transplant, then will you leave them? After all these years of sharing so much?
Dear Couples and citizens of humanity,
It doesn’t matter if your girlfriend/wife/ friend has facial hair, as long as you both have respect for each other. Similarly, what matters is a thick bond and not a thick beard! So, don’t let anyone, especially society make you feel ugly and if your bae does, the article will always be available on the website. And always remember, we are all more than our hair and are PERFECTLY FLAWED!’
