5 Affordable and Compact Cars to be unveiled at Auto Expo 2018

The 2018 Auto Expo is slated to be held from 9th to 14th February 2018 at Greater Noida, near the Indian capital. Well; the counting has already begun for the show that occurs once every two years as it’s just a few weeks away. This is one of the biggest automotive events in the country.

2018 Auto Expo still got the hype up for most of the automotive enthusiast, even though the participant of the event decreased. A little bit smaller from the 2016 event, some big names monitored to be taking absent in this year’s event. The big guys that confirmed they will not showcasing themselves on the exhibition floor includes likes of Volkswagen, Jaguar, Jeep, Datsun, Nissan, Land Rover, Audi, Fiat, Ford, Skoda, and Isuzu.

Rumors flew around about why the big companies withdrew themselves. But it is known that attending such a huge event could be a major bill for the company. Presenting some models, or some well-known names on the showbiz industry to attract attentions and visitors, making the manufacturers spend pretty big sum. Still, a visitors’ attraction will not be completed without some great floor display. That adds another cost to the bills.

The no-boundaries realm of World Wide Web and the entire subsidiary such as blogs, video channels, social media, sure do change how people interact with each other at big times. So does how consumer interacts with the automobile manufacturers.

The awakening of social media means a world with fewer boundaries, or no boundaries at all. So to reach the potential buyers, the manufacturers could create some integrated internet campaign to make an engagement with the target segment, with so minimal amount to spend.

Of course it is not the only way to unveil the new products.

Manufacturers like Volvo, who was also opted-out for this year’s Auto Expo, now prefer to introducing their new products at their Sweden-based headquarters, and inviting auto-journalists there.

Creating more focused, smaller events that hit their target market right from the start is the new way car makers now chose, because it seen as more efficient way to reach potential buyers.

This year’s Auto Expo still does have its own charm. Seeing a car, feeling the body panel contours, sitting on the seat, reaching the steering wheel by your own hand, meeting very like-minded people who shares same passion about automotive, have an irreplaceable feelings for sure.

Smaller but still got its own fanciness, worth to be noted that even though some of the big guys are not around this year, some manufacturers widen their display floor, some still launch their product for the first time, and some still full of energy and excitement about it. Still you have plenty of great options from the car makers to select to.
