The Italian sports carmaker, Lamborghini is equally ready to cash in on the rush. And the result is; Lamborghini Urus Suv hooks India at Rs. 3.0 Crore. The Lamborghini Urus SUV will flaunt its sports features as well as SUV combined with its patented DNA. The trailblazing and much awaited luxury SUV is certain to excite and hook Indians like never before.
Lamborghini did not have a SUV in its stable for decades and their decision to launch an SUV is a sign of growing demand of the luxury SUVs in the Indian market. The company presently sells models such as Huracan and Aventador and it hope to triple the sales after the launch of Lamborghini Urus SUV. As per Lamborghini’s India head, Sharad Agarwal, “Indians love SUVs and we have seen a great level of interest for the Urus. It is an exciting and important product for us and opens up a completely new segment of customers in India.”
The company considers India as a strategic market in spite of the fact that the volumes are still low in the premium segment. Lamborghini’s General for Asia pacific, Andrea Baldi said, “India as a market is gradually playing a very interesting role in our overall sales. Urus will change the game for Lamborghini in India in terms of volumes.”
These statements from the company’s sources are highly encouraging for the market which is going to witness exciting times in the luxury SUV segments. Sharad Agarwal has further added that the company has been expanding its presence in India and is gradually eyeing for sales from smaller towns and cities as well.
On the specifications and performance of the Lamborghini Urus SUV, it measures a simply ferocious! The SUV, an all wheel drive comes with a 4 litre V8 twin-turbo engine. It delivers a maximum power of 660 Bhp. It has an incredible response time too. It can race from 0-100 km/hr in just 3.6 seconds. And see the top speed! It is whopping 305 km/hr.
And the price announced for the Lamborghini Urus SUV is no less, Rs 3.0 crore.
The company has already sold all its Urus SUV 2018 units yesterday, the 11th January 2018, the date of the launch itself. Now if you want to buy it, you would have to wait for the 2019.
