Maruti Suzuki then in 2016 launched a mid-life facelift version of the Alto 800 .  Now this one is 9 per cent more fuel-efficient than the earlier model. The primary updates in the facelift include a new grille, which is a lot slimmer with the logo mounted below it. The car also now gets fog lamps, which are very well-integrated in the bumper. Coming again to the bumper, it’s lower half r houses a large intake.  This compared to the last generation car has been inverted to make it look a bit more more aggressive. The car now has an ARAI claimed fuel economy of 24.7kmpl . Also the CNG version of the Alto also shows an improvement of over 10 per cent above its predecessor with a mileage of 33.44kmpl. There are several more updates like the remote keyless entry and updated interior upholstery across the range.
