Hello all. This is a test post just to see if I know how to use this.

p.s. this is my unofficial first post and because I am using this as a diary, I'll add this:

So today after a study session sort of situation ( I will just call it a study session because it's somewhat difficult to explain) ended (it ended around 9:30 p.m.), my dad picked up me and my sister from the session location. Now, as you may or may not know, I tore my wallet a few weeks ago and so my dad had a surprise for me in the car. Can you guess what it was? A new puppy? A parrot? A (I actually don't know what to put here) cow? Nope. My mom would never allow a dog, and a parrot is too exotic for our family. However, the cow would have been possible because my dad could probably fit a cow in the bed of his truck but again, it would have been too peculiar ( I had to think for a while about what word to use there). He had a new wallet waiting for me and he had gotten a new one for himself as well. I had really wanted a coin pocket in my new wallet so we immediately drove to the store from which he'd purchased the wallet and returned it. At the store we searched through all of the available wallets for sale but could not find one with a coin pocket; normally I would have asked a salesperson if there were any other wallets in the "back" of the store but the store was closing soon (it was 10:00 at night) and we had only arrived at around 9:50 p.m. While my dad and I were searching for the perfect wallet, my sister had wandered off to the ladies' shoes section, she found some shoe/slipper things she liked and so she got them as they were reasonably priced. So that night we left the store one pair of shoe/slipper things richer.

As a side note I would like to add that my new wallet absolutely had to be brown and possess a coin pocket.

 There was a particular wallet on amazon that I had discovered－and taken an immediate liking to－ which met all the requirements I had in mind for my perfect wallet. As we left the store I popped the question. The conversation went something like this.

Me: "Papa, can I just order one online because it will be pretty hard to find a wallet with a coin pocket in a physical store."

Dad: " Well you have to show me what you find before you order it, and remember: you're stuck with whatever comes because it's too much of a headache to go to the post office and return it."

Me *screaming internally*(because he almost never agrees to anything I say): "OK I'll look for one." (we climb into the car and continue on our way  home)

*thirty seconds later at a red light*

Me *thrusting my phone into his hands*: "OK how's this wallet" ( I showed him the aforementioned wallet on amazon)

Dad: "Wow, this is actually really nice. Order one for me and one for you"

Me: "OK, but it only has six pockets and you have way too many cards." (I counted. He has 10 cards including his licence)

Dad *with a sudden realization and an air of disappointment in his voice*: "Oh...(he paused)... well okay, just order one for you and I'll see if it will work for me when it arrives and then we can order another one if my stuff will fit."

OK, so I just wrote this after we ordered a wallet. I just realized how late it is. This was originally meant to just be a test post but I got carried away and have just spent the last 45 minutes typing this, I can go on but I really have to go to sleep soon because I have to wake up early tomorrow because we are going somewhere. (I'll tell you tomorrow)
