The data from August 2015 to June 2017 stated that India becomes the highest producer of renewable source of Energy that distributed by Central Electricity Agency.
By generating 10.2 billion units of renewable energy in June, India is now leading to provide sufficient energy and fulfilling the necessity in urban areas. This includes electricity generated from Solar, wind, biomass and small hydroelectric units.
According to data, 26% more than 8.1 billion units were produced in June 2016 which followed 17% more i.e. 8.6 billion units of generated in May 2017. The total installed solar energy generation grew three-fold to 13,652 MW in the last two fiscal years, the report said.
When approached to know the reason of soaring solar energy production in current fiscal, it was found that higher solar radiation and higher wind speeds are the key factors that produced good amount of energy.
Solar power generation grew by 95% to 1,797 million units in June against the year-ago period. Wind power generation increased by 24% to 7,229 million units in the same period.
India has been a key player in whole world who produces more & more units of renewable source of energy and export certain amount to the various nations. Government is actively working on installing renewable sources wherever it is feasible on the land that gives maximum output. This installation consists solar & wind energy recommendations than any other source.
Kutch region of Gujarat has installed good numbers of wind energy and has got vast area to cover the maximum potential of nature. By properly managing this sources, Gujarat is the stable state to get electricity round the clock.
