As many companies and billionaire came forward to aid for Texas calamities, Michael Dell is donating $36 million for Texas, highest till date.
Hurricane Harvey has hit major areas of Texas state where people lost lives, shelter, beloved ones. The government offered several aids and Texas thunder gradually getting under control. But, when it comes to figures, it seems to much-much higher which may affect overall economy of USA.

Michael Dell is among the people who donated huge amount to restore Texas in quick way while he is now highest donor with $36 million. Dell said the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation will make the donation to help seed the Rebuild Texas Fund. Not just donation, Michael Dell has urged other people to come forward and fight against Hurricane Harvey. The donation will be made 50% in first shot and rest of them will be like 50 cents for every single dollar donated by others to Texas.
Since, Texas observed landfall on its coastal region a week ago, causing the record break rainfall and flooding in Houston, number of organisation came forward and pledged for funds and other necessary resources required.
Other tech companies like Verizon, Google, PayPal have also run a campaign which gathered more than $15 million while a coalition of Austin-based startups created their own donation drive.
The goal of the Rebuild Texas Fund, which was announced by Texas Governor Greg Abbott which aims to gather $100 million for long term recovery and rebuilding communities.
With this donation, Dell joins the ranks of other billionaires who are stepping up and donating millions to help Texas recover from Hurricane Harvey. Other donations like $50 mn to Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, and the $25 million for Seton Healthcare Family in Austin.
