These 8 Nigerian Songs Have The Reekado Banks Seal Of Approval

In 2014, when Reekado Banks came on to the scene, it took him no time to find his voice. Since then, he's served us nothing but jams – which explains why he went on to win the 'Next Rated' award at the 2015 Headies.

His standout hooks always stole the show on Mavin Records' tracks such as "Adaobi" and "Dorobucci", affirming his musical ability, while his earlier singles "Katapot" and "Oluwa Ni"  cemented this.

His debut album, Spotlight was easily one of the best afropop projects of last year - thanks to hits like "Problem", "Move" and "Ladies and Gentlemen" - and with each release, Reekado Banks reminds us that his musical prowess is no fluke. Even his newest singles, "Kiss Me" and "Easy - Jeje", have been brilliant.

On this note, much like we've done with other musicians such as Sarz, Mayorkun and 9ice, we asked the hook-master Reekado Banks what his favourite songs at the moment are, and it's no surprise that he is listening to some solid afropop songs!
