Maiden’s Heart

Tags: heart soul

What is so apparent

In my mannerism

That you smile slyly

Whenever I talk to you

And it feels like the sun

Bloomed after days of rain ,

Like every speck of dust

Turned into gold

Swirling in the air,

A treasure trove

For a pirate old.

And love blooms in my heart

Erupting so hard,

It is difficult to hide it.

Yet my face betrays me

And it shows you

All that I hold true to my soul

And you triumph at my agony

Of the never ending battle

Between my heart and my brain,

Yet never seeking to resolve it.

Oh , Your cruel maiden’s heart

Give me respite

From this madness of the soul

Say No and end this all

My heart will bleed for some time

And then the wounds will fill up

As they always do

I might aspire to be normal

Once again , sans you

I have to , girl.

Because life will go on

Even if I am not ready to.
