As the two people walked in, Victor, Henry and Lydia looked towards the direction of these two people and Lydia said excitedly to them, “u both made it”.
(It was actually Jack and Cynthia in “Attitude – A flashback”.)
She looked behind them, hoping to see Anne but there was no sign of her. She asked after Anne from both jack and Cynthia, and jack said “she did not make it to this stage” he further went on explaining how rude she was to the Interview officials.
“Poor her” Lydia exclaimed.
Jack and Cynthia walked towards Victor and Henry to grab a seat as well. “Are they also here for the interview?” Henry asked. Yes they are. Remember I told you we were four at our initial interview before I was given a challenge, these are the other two from the initial interview that made it to this stage except one that did not make it” Lydia explained.
“Congratulations”, Henry said while stretching his hand forth to welcome them. Victor also welcomed them very well while a thought ran through his mind thus “this is getting tougher than I imagined. More competition. Will i be able to make it?”
As seconds passed, the three men as well as both ladies got along very quickly and they related like old friends that are reuniting again.
“This third interview is taking longer than normal to commence”, Victor said with a worried look on his face. “I guess it might appear tougher than the previous interview since it’s taking longer time but I believe we’ll crack it” Lydia said jokingly to ease the tension in the room and they all laughed at Lydia’s joke.
“Wait a minute, victor! You said 3rd interview. Have you undergone another interview before this present one asides your first? Because this is our 2nd interview” Cynthia asked with a confused look on her face.
Victor, Henry and Lydia looked at themselves and laughed profusely. They almost laughed out their ribs. “Why are you all laughing? Is anything wrong with my question?” Cynthia asked.
“We are also in the same dilemma as you are now. For us, this is going to be our second interview as well but to the officials, it’s our third interview session” Victor explained to Cynthia.
“Really!”, Cynthia exclaimed. “We are sorry for laughing at your question earlier anyways” Lydia apologised. “I get it now” Cynthia said as they all laughed at themselves.
Suddenly, the light in the room went off and came back on almost immediately and to their surprise, they saw three officials seated directly opposite them.
