Ok guys! So today, I have a cheeky review on these beautiful magnetic lashes from Silly George (which were kindly gifted to me for this review, can we get a hashtag gifted up in here?) 

So let’s dive right in shall we! 

Right off the bat I have to say that these arrived in quick fire speed, which is amazing! We do love a good delivery moment, so top marks for that Silly George! 

Secondly I’d like to point out how gorgeous the packaging is. It’s super cute baby pink outer carton and sweet little compact inside; which is magnetic and holds your lashes in place perfectly so they don’t fall out, is a touch I really loved.

Being completely transparent with you all, these were not easy to apply. I struggled hard guys. Especially knowing that I can whack a lash on in the dark with my eyes closed, haha!

The issue I found was basically each lash only having 3 magnets attached to them (top and bottom lash bands.) I tried to apply them whilst holding both the top and bottom lash to secure them, alas it was pretty much impossible. I contacted Silly George and told them my struggle, as I really didn’t want this review to be a negative one and they suggested cutting the bottom lashes into 3 sections so that I could apply them little by little which actually worked a dream! So even though I endured a little faff, I was happy to finally get these bad boys on because, as you can see ,they are gorgeous and fluffy and not too over the top! They really are a perfectly versatile style. 

The only other issue I had with them was that even after curling my lashes and applying a generous amount of mascara, these lashes kept slipping down my lashes during the day which was such a shame. I tried these lashes both with and without mascara only to yield the same results.

I’ve since seen that Silly George have a liner and lash system available, which I feel would be so much easier, It’d be nice to compare the two differing applications (anything to save my natural lashes from glue rip out! Ugh.) Can you imagine just adding liner and your lash immediately just attaches? I know right? Crazy! I can imagine that the liner system would be amazing for those who do truly struggle gluing and applying lashes.

Essentially, I liked the premise and quality of the lashes, but next time, I’d definitely plump for getting the liner and lash system.
