Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has made some changes in online and tatkaal ticket booking rules. Railways have made these changes in view of the safety and comfort of the passengers. According to the new rules, passengers can now book their travel tickets 120 days in advance.Under the changes made in online railway ticket booking, a user ID will now be able to book only six tickets in a month. If the user has registered his Aadhaar number with the IRCT then he can book 12 tickets in a month. Only two tickets can be booked between 8 and 10 in the morning. Apart from this, there will be no single page or quick booking during this time.
Six railway ticket booking from an ID
One change is that a user ID can be used only once in one place. It was earlier that tickets were booked using the same ID at several places at one time, but now it will not be so. Apart from this, when the user comes online he will also have to fill out a personal information. The booking agent has arranged that they will now be able to book tickets between 8 am to 8.30 am, 10 am to 10.30 am and 11 to 11.30 am. That is, they will get time to book tickets for only half an hour.
Rein on agent – tatkaal ticket booking
IRCTC has made some changes to the rules of tatkaal ticket booking. Agents will not be able to make the booking until half an hour before the immediate booking starts. Well, one day before the immediate booking trip, the booking will start from 10 o’clock. Reservation for non AC will start from 11 o’clock. According to information received from IRCTC, if the train is more than three hours late from its scheduled time, then the traveler may demand full payment back, in addition to changing the route of the train, the passengers will be entitled to withdraw their money.
Apart from this, if the passenger does not get the allotted coach in the Tatkal booking, then he will also be entitled to withdraw his full rent in that case.
Will get certain time
The user will get a certain time to book online ticket. 25 seconds to travel and passenger details. Payment must be done within 10 seconds and payment of ticket during NetBanking will also be filled with OTP.
