Krista Campbell, a.k.a. Little Miss African-American, has been hard at work this month. Her latest engagement was at the African American Heritage Month in downtown Los Angeles earlier this week.
Krista wore her crown and belted out the lyrics to Dionne Warwick’s hit song, “What The World Needs Now Is Love.” The youngster was a bit nervous about the performance and for good reason since Dionne Warwick was in attendance. “Don’t be scared baby,” Krista’s mom, Erica Campbell, captioned underneath a picture of her letting her nerves show. “You got it,” the star mom encouraged.
Krista definitely had the gift that made attendees rejoice. Just listen to the young star during sound check!
Soundcheck me and the sound man have a problem! Singing for the Mayor of Los Angeles and Ms Dionne Warwick! #lmaapageant
The day would not have been complete, of course, without Krista taking at least one picture with the legendary Dionne Warwick. “She is so beautiful,” one fan wrote in response to seeing a picture of Krista and Dionne together.
