Jaden Smith has finally dropped his debut album, Syre, and it is truly a complex creative reflection of the artist himself.
Inspired by Smith's middle name, Syre is a follow up to his 2015 EP, delivering 17 tracks that encompass a montage of genres and diverse sounds full of dark, moody harmonies. The first four songs, "B," "L," "U," "E," take the listener on a slow, easy-melodic journey before blasting them into fully rock-infused sound.
Throughout the album, Smith raps about love, relationships, and heartbreak. A$AP Rocky can be heard on "Breakfast" while Atlanta-native Raury is featured on "Falcon".
It looks like Smith definitely hit the mark with this new project. We can't wait to see what amazing things he has in store for 2018. Check out the entire album from Smith and let us know what you think.
